Love ‘em or hate ‘em, meetings are a big part of work today. Many meetings don’t really need to be meetings. An email would do the job. And many meetings that should happen—there really is a good reason to get a group of people together in real-time—still fail to achieve their purpose.

In this session, you’ll learn and practice the DAVID approach so you can run an effective meeting, every time.

There is strong, consistent, and broad research that shows that setting goals increases performance and motivation. That research also shows that not all goals are created equal. There are good goals and bad goals. But the usual advice on what makes a good goal doesn’t work reliably. It fails to take into account human motivation.

In this session, we’ll look at 6 factors of an effective, human-friendly goal, and we’ll practice crafting goals that’ll produce good results in your life and work.
